Ubunu 18.04 workspace switcher doesn't work (?)

Asked by Marco

I used the work space switcher under Ubuntu 16.04, but on Ubuntu 18.04 I don't get it running. I followed these instructions:
https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/linux-and-open-source/six-must-have-ubuntu-unity-tweaks/
3. Workspace switcher:
    Open the Unity Tweak Tool
Click on the Workspace Settings section
Click the Workspace switcher On/Off slider to the On position
But nothing happens. Why? And what would this <Super> key be for "start workspace switcher"?

Furthermore: I also tried the Hotcorners which didn't work, while changing the cursor colour was working.

18.04 doesn't use Unity, it uses a themed version of GNOME. Nothing in Unity Tweak Tool will work on 18.04.
