which URL to open thunderbird by clicking on icon
I want to open a local email-client when clicking on unity-mail-icon, instead of opening Gmail in browser.
What is the URL of Thunderbird or Opera-mail for example?
Could You add a configurable option for "open in local email-client"?
Thank You for Your answer!!!
sincerely
Rainer

You can set URL to "Exec:any command", for example "Exec:thunderbird".

thank You! This is working fine, exept that I have to find out what the exact command should be.
The command to open opera-mail or thunderbird compose-window, for example.
But I admit that these questions are generell linux-questions and not specific to unity mail.

Yes, please read the documentation of the program you're trying to open.

I found out:
1. "Exec:opera -mail"
2. "Exec:thunderbird -compose"
