Configuration file doc & example

Asked by aslam karachiwala

It appears that there are features that can be configured but are not evident from the original/default ~/.config/unity-mail.conf. Can you publish and include in the package an example config file that contains all the options and info re how to use them?

The official documentation about configuration file is at http://sourceforge.net/p/retext/wiki/Configuration%20file/. There is a plan to ship some docs with ReText itself, but it'll require some time to write that documentation, so this will be in one of the future releases.

My question was about configuring unity-mail. For instance, I learned about specifying account specific URLs and multiple IMAP folders only from other answers (http://is.gd/HG7HPL & http://is.gd/enfkl1), this info is not documented anywhere. What I am looking for is a complete listing of all such config options for unity-mail.

Oops, please disregard that comment :/

I'll create a documentation page on wiki.ubuntu.com describing all configuration options when I have more time. Here's a list of options currently available via the configuration file but not present in the GUI:

* AccountDisplay: see https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-mail/+bug/1015091/comments/6.
* Blacklist: a list of email addresses that should not make the messaging menu blue.
* ExtraFolders: see https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-mail/+bug/863386/comments/2.
* Inbox[email] (in URLs section): sets an URL to be opened when a message is selected (this will be probably deprecated in favour of a "message preview" dialog).

(you seem to already know about the last two).

Can you help with this problem?
