unity-greeter in distros not based in ubuntu

Have you thought about porting unity-greeter to other operating systems? I would love to have it in fedora. Or it could give me some advice to compile on fedora

Unity Greeter should compile fine on other platforms. Note however that it is designed for Unity/Ubuntu so it does require things like the indicators to be available. We wont take patches to support other platforms that don't have all those requirements.
