Simple 2d Improvement suggestion for Windows

Asked by Paul

I love Unity 2d. Thanks for developing it for those of us with modest hardware.

I do miss the Window listing applets. However I am learning the commands. (Used to use keyboard commands but got lazy years ago.!)

Is there a simple way to make a launcher to simulate the ALT Tab keyboard combination and place it in the launcher?

There is software (Google Chrome for instance) that as you open multiple windows and minimize one, the launcher will not let you open the other windows by clicking an icon.

I have a habit of dragging my windows out of the screen partly and sometimes can't get to the top bar to drag a window out of the way. There are so many Key commands (I even have the desktop pix set to the unity image with the keyboard shortcuts) but that I spend too much productivity time recalling what key shortcut is what.

Just a thought. Any takers or anyone with a solution on an easy icon to simulate alt tab?

The Alt+Tab shortcut should still work and display the windows list on the current workspace.
Alternatively, the workspace switcher (Super+S) will display all the workspaces with all the windows on each, and clicking any given window will switch to it.

Can you help with this problem?
