Max ISO Size For Download

Asked by Andrew Galewsky on 2015-12-05

I am creating a custom unetbootin and so far so good - however my ISO is about 2.5 GB. When it tries to download the iso the size reported is odd - i.e. a huge number of MB. Is that because something is declared and int when it needs to be a long? Or have I messed up something somewhere else?

Thanks in Advance!

check that the server reports file sizes correctly? ie, if you just wget the file, does it estimate the correct size?

I switched to using FTP and it works as expected now. When I get more time i will dope out why. I think it has to do with the fact there are two different functions used to display the file size in the gui and one is 64bit and used for ftp. The other is not and is used for http....
