No Network Devices detected

Asked by Darrin Swanson

Trying to install to a Toshiba NB505-N508BL netbook. The ethernet and wifidevices are both Realtek devices. The ethernet device is a mystery as it is reported by Toshiba Support with no specs other than it's manufacturer and a link to a windows driver which doesn't seem to work. The wifi device is a Realtek RTL8188CE and is reported as such in the BusyBox syslog. Can someone help me to install the proper module?

I don't know the answer to your issue but this is an issue with Ubuntu (or whatever distro you're installing) itself, rather than UNetbootin (which only manages the creation of the bootable stick, and clearly it's working because it booted). You're more likely to get a useful answer if you ask a question on Ubuntu itself / post on ubuntuforums or askubuntu.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Darrin Swanson for more information if necessary.
