xubuntu does not show windows drives to mount

Xubuntu USB live drive boots and runs

Cannot see or find other hard drive on computer. This computer is loaded with Windows 7
Looked at Places, top of xubuntu screen and drop down menu where instructions say other drives should appear -- I see the "USB drive" but no other drives nor does "Computer" show up in the drop down menu.

Where did I go wrong

Almost certainly isn't a UNetbootin issue, you'll have better luck asking on http://ubuntuforums.org/ sorry I don't use Xubuntu so I can't help you.
