Windows Embedded Standard 7 DVD

Asked by ujr

Hi,
I saved an ISO image of a Windows Embedded Standard 7 DVD in order to create a bootable USB stick of it.
Then I started UNetbootin, chose "image" (ISO) and selected the just saved ISO. The USB drive was correctly shown as being "F:".
Now I pressed "OK" and UNetbootin started working. All steps (download, extract & copy, install) are executed in a second and I'm prompted for restart.
Of course, in this second the data could not have been written. Infact, the USB drive only contains:
menu.c32, syslinux.cfg, ubnfilel.txt, ubnpathl.txt (both the last files are empty).

UNetbootin is Windows version (549).

There's no error message.

Any idea what might be wrong and what I could do?

Best regards

I consider this a bug. How can I report it such that it doesn't expire?
What can I do to help fix it?

Open a bug instead opening a question, or contact directly https://launchpad.net/~gezakovacs
Unetbootin is dedicated to Unix OSes, and not Windows ones.
So failure to make a bootable Windows Seven USB stick is not a bug.
Search with Google "Seven pendrive".

https://launchpad.net/unetbootin
Netbootin loads utilities or installs Linux/BSD to a partition or USB drive without a CD. It can use an existing disk image/kernel/initrd file, or download a supported distro or system utility (such as Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, FreeBSD, PartedMagic, etc.)

Can you help with this problem?
