Is a new release required to find 10.10?

Asked by Marco Parillo on 2010-10-08

Ubuntu 10.10 to debut on 10.10.10

Which is not one of the UNetbootin supported distributions

Will UNetbootin find 10.10, or do you need to create a new version before it can?
Or, do we just wait and test?

The current release (491) already supports the Ubuntu 10.10 desktop iso; it will work if you supply it an iso file, and it can even download it for you (currently the RC, but it will find the 10.10 release iso once it gets on the mirrors without modifications). The wiki page listing supported distributions is rather outdated at the moment, and was never meant to be inclusive in the first place (since UNetbootin doesn't use per-distribution rules but only general heuristics); I think I'll delete it or at least put on a warning since it seems to be misleading users.

I see you have already updated to point to

So, now all I need to do is wait for 10.10.
