UNetbootin boot loader and screen

Asked by Denis Ryndine on 2010-06-03

Hello,

UNetbootin installs if i'm not misken syslinux bootloader when converting from a bootable linux iso to usb stick.

Anyway I can prevent it from installing its own blue menu screen and rather use what is specified in the
isolinux.cfg in the iso image i'm converting from?

In my isolinux.cfg i have:

default somrest
timeout 20
prompt 1
display f10boot.msg
F1 f1boot.msg
F2 f2images.msg
F3 f3params.msg
F4 f4arun.msg
F5 f5troubl.msg
F6 f6pxe.msg
F7 f7net.msg
F9 f9saps.msg

I want to keep the boot screen as specified in f10boot.msg file, and not what UNetbootin does.

Thank you

If there exists a file /syslinux.cfg or /syslinux/syslinux.cfg or /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg in your iso file then it will be used instead, and the new syslinux.cfg will not be generated.

Can you help with this problem?
