Position accuracy

Asked by John M.

The voice guidance on the uNav app is often off by quite a bit. Especially in a city setting, the voice guidance asks me to turn a block before the actual turn. Map shows the correct turn but the voice guidance is not quite synced up with my current position. It has gotten better in the last few updates but is still off. Is this a known issue? I'd be happy to send any debug logs if there is a way to do that. Thanks for your efforts!

Hi John,
In a city the accuracy is bad because of the builds. uNav can't do so
much about that.
Did you try with WIFI enabled (not connected, only in BQ or Meizu)?
That will enable the AGPS and you'll get better positions.
Thanks for your feedback!

@costales thanks for the reply. Yes, I have wifi enabled. I'm using Nexus 4. I use Miles but I don't think that should make any difference. It is possible the GPS is weak, but there are no high rises in the city I live in. I'll keep testing and let you know. Thanks!

The Miles had a change in last version, I will test it too :)
Thanks for the feedback
