regex snippet and option !

Asked by fehlerfix

I'm trying to override the following regex snippet:
snippet "b(egin)?" "begin{} / end{}" br
\begin{${1:something}}
 ${0:${VISUAL}}
\end{$1}
endsnippet

with
snippet "b(egin)?" "new describtion" !br
...

but when I expand the snippet I still get the list to choose. The option ! works for normal without regex trigger. Is this a bug or did I miss something?
