Why is it not possible to customize the name of the snippets directory?

Seems like it would be easy enough to control this with a global variable. Why is this option not available?

I didn't see it as useful. If you could, we would need to check for the default name UltiSnips (for the shipped snippets at the very least) and for a second name. If you feel it is important, please open a bug report for this. someone else might implement it.
