Will UGR have a classic Gnome 2 DE too?

Yes. We plan to add the Gnome 2 environment as an option.

GNOME3 has GNOME 2/classic already included. Under the users area of settings, there's an option to force a classic/ 'fallback' session. We hope to add this as a session option in GDM (the login screen) soon.

Sorry, Gnome 3 Fallback is not Gnome 2, it lacks of so many ways of modifying it and basic Gnome 2 functions and is not acceptable as Gnome 2 replacement for me, I fI ask about Gnome 2, I am not asking about Gnome 3 Fallback.

For the purposes of this project, the fallback is GNOME 2. It is being improved continuously, and will have more features soon. It is not possible to have both versions of GNOME on a system - this is the compromise we are going with.
