Corrupt or invalid kernel

Asked by Deam Nitrel

I have the ISO of Ufurmix i386 RC, and I have burned it properly to the disks using the proper program to do so. When I try to run wubi.exe from within Windows (I do run Windows 7 Home Premium in 32-bit), I get a notice saying there's no CD menu. When I start my computer with a burned disk in it, it does boot from the disk to the Ufurmix menu. However, the only option I can choose is booting from the local hard disk. Every other option only results in the message "Corrupt or invalid kernel". I'm wondering if it's a problem with the ISO, or if there's a specific way that I need to install this. Can you help?

I think this happens because the ISO is broken. Dropbox turned out to be a very unreliable hosting. The release image will be hosted on better servers. The best way to repair it is starting BitTorrent download into the folder where your ISO is now. The file will be checked for integrity and corrupted parts will be downloaded and repaired. You can find ufurmix torrent download here: http://linuxtracker.org/index.php?page=torrent-details&id=7bb21c4f649351956c1fcffb48ce20e108e209d4
If you tell which OS you are using, I can provide more detailed instructions if you wish.
