Is this project still active? Is there a version for Feisty coming? (Edgy was skipped.) Is support for the alternate cds coming, or will it be live-cds only?

What do you mean its still active? Ubuntu is still an active project. Feisty came out last April 19, 2007 and now known as Ubuntu 7.04. You can request for free CDs at http://shipit.ubuntu.com but this is the live cd version. the alternate cds are available for download.

This question is about UCK, not Ubuntu.
Yes, the project is still active. Customization of Feisty is working if you do not try to install multiple languages (bug #109021).

Alternate CDs are not supported and will not be supported any time soon, as building alternate CDs uses completely different process than live CDs.
