Can I customize the default users environment?

Asked by Pascal de Bruijn

I want to customize my default users environment...

1. I want to change the default GTK/icon theme
2. I want to change the default wallpaper
3. I might want to change the default GDM login
4. I want to put some (dot)files in the users homedir

Can I just run gnome-appearance-properties during the customization phase?

Is this possible? Won't they be deleted as part of a cleanup before generating the ISO image?

It will be deleted. You have to change environment used when creating new user.

you can boot your iso, customize the user environment, save user's home to a persistent disk and replace /etc/skel with the user's home and regenerate your iso

Can you help with this problem?
