Also i am unable to apt-get the kbuildsyscoca package as well. i am running kubuntu 7.10 and trying to customize kubuntu 7.04 from the ISO, this comes up post adding/removing packges screen (after i close the adept package manager)

I am trying to build a live cd with fluxbox and firefox on it for securily browsing internet :)

any help in this regard will be highly appreciated :)

You don't seem to have KDE installed inside chroot (i.e. in the image
you are trying to remaster). What kind of image are you remastering?
