It seems that another modification is required, see bug #1463583

Modify /usr/lib/uck/customization-profiles/localized_cd/customize_iso
change line 92
from
cd gfxboot-theme-ubuntu
into
cd gfxboot-theme-ubuntu-0.18.0

As I already wrote in the question that I linked in my first comment:
Check recent bug reports of Ubuntu Customization Kit whether you find the same error in one of the bug reports, and perhaps also a hint for a solution.
