No package manager found error.

Asked by Mark Fisher

Using UCK 2.4.5-0ubuntu1
ISO - ubuntu-12.04.4-desktop-i386.iso
running XUbuntu 12.04

When selecting to run package manager error is reported as No Package Manager Found no other detail given.

I have checked and there are no other components to UCK to download. Synaptic is installed on my system, perhaps this is not the default for UCK?
Whats happening?
This looks like it could be very usefull software, I'd really like to get it working.
Thanks in advance if you can help.

The package manager cannot be found because it's not on the ubuntu image. Add it via command line and then you can use it

Can you help with this problem?
