create livecd fails with error 32-can't mount casper

Asked by Howard Judd

Attempting to create a livecd on Ubuntu 11.10 using Ubuntu Cusomization kit. I get the following message in the build.log:

Mounting SquashFS image...
/home/csscaisi/tmp/remaster-iso/casper/filesystem.squashfs: No such file or directory
Cannot mount /home/csscaisi/tmp/remaster-iso/casper/filesystem.squashfs in /home/csscaisi/tmp/remaster-root-mount, error=32

I want to add iperf and openssh onto the livecd to be able to use them when booted from the Ubuntu cdrom.

This message most often implies that the CD you are trying to customize is *not* a live-cd: It is missing the live filesystem.
