(on local machine and mounted with "dev, suid, exec" options)What are you talking about?

Asked by Thomas Boesiger

The instructions on how to use uck, what there is that is , left-out running from a terminal and then it seems the building of the custom iso also relies on use of the terminal to do the real work. Very disappointing. My desire is to make an iso that would install the apps I want without waiting for them to download-again and again. How about adapting software center to simply download deb files and allow me to store them any way I want? Just tried to do that with libre office and open office. For them , why not mount them like mac os and make them executable to start running a script

we won't "adapt" software center cause that would be a real pain to maintain and also a non-sense, it's not hard to open a terminal a do "apt-get install what you need" while generating the iso, otherwise open a bug against software center and tell them to support chrooted environments.

Can you help with this problem?
