Custom distro for school students

Asked by Gaurav Parashar

I am organizing a workshop on ubuntu and invited some school teachers and students to give them live demo of ubuntu so that they can install ubuntu on their systems and convert them from windows os. some of the questions i have in my mind. please clarify.

1. Do i have to take permission for creating an installation CD ?
2. Do i have to pay something to ubuntu for it ?
3. Can i place my institution logo and material in the CD?
4. Do i have to pay anything to ubuntu?

Distro will be used for teaching students only and will be distributed free for all the students and schools.

The website for the seminar cum workshop is http://inmantec.edu/os2012
