Cannot create /home/myusername/tmp/remaster-root/var/run

Using Lubuntu Oneiric Beta2 (May be different than Ubuntu)

UCK fails repeatedly at:
mkdir: cannot create directory `/home/myusername/tmp/remaster-root/var/run': File exists
...
Cannot create /home/myusername/tmp/remaster-root/var/run

I have enough space left. Tried rebooting and removing manually ~/tmp to ensure the directory does not exists.
/home/myusername/tmp/remaster-root/var/run: is a symbolic link to /run

It worked with the Lubuntu 11.04 iso.
