Does not ask for password, mount fails

Please update to 2.4.x and retry

Everything worked well until it tried to mount the iso file, as it has
unsufficient permissions to do that. Because the script can't be run under
sudo and it doesn't ask me for my password, like the version on my computer
does, it simply fails.

I downloaded 2.4.4 and it still doesn't work:

Funny: I commented the 3 lines checking for root, ran it as sudo and it failed. Strange ...

It seems you've no loop support in your kernel so you cannot mount iso
files...
