Does not ask for password, mount fails
Hey! ;)
I try to run UCK on my Ubuntu server as my internet connection at home is very slow at the moment and I have to use my netbook, so packung/unpacking and downloading packets would take eternities.
Well, as I don't really get how to use the single scripts and I don't want to much effort into it (I would remaster the image manually before attempting to work with those scripts ;) ), I enabled X-Forwarding in my ssh connection to to use uck-gui.
Well, not necessary I think, as a neat ncurses-like 'GUI' pops up. Everything worked well until it tried to mount the iso file, as it has unsufficient permissions to do that. Because the script can't be run under sudo and it doesn't ask me for my password, like the version on my computer does, it simply fails.
Logfile:
'Ubuntu Customization Kit 2.0.12
Starting CD remastering on Do 5. Mai 19:19:41 CEST 2011
Customization dir=/home/
Mounting ISO image...
mount: no permission to look at /dev/loop<N>
Cannot mount /home/wethon/
I would appreciate a solution for that, UCK is great and I enjoy using it. :)
Regards,
Flo
