ISO remastering directory does not exists

Asked by Yann Hamon

UCK always fails when I specify an (empty so far) customisation directory:

root@mandragor:~/oabuntu# /usr/bin/uck-remaster /home/yann/oabuntu/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso /home/yann/oabuntu/customization-dir/
Ubuntu Customization Kit 2.0.12
Starting CD remastering on Tue Aug 31 15:48:16 CEST 2010
Customization dir=/home/yann/oabuntu/customization-dir/
Removing ISO remastering dir...
ISO remastering directory does not exists

What am I doing wrong? Are there folders I need to create manually?

Hello Fabrizio, thanks for the quick response - I am using the latest stable package for Ubuntu Lucid - is there a PPA somewhere with the latest package, or should I download it from the website?

there's no ppa at the moment, you can download the deb file from uck.sf.net :)

Alright then, that seems to have fixed it :) Maybe a patched version for lucid in the -updates or even a version in -backports would be suitable? Thanks a lot for the help though, I'll keep on playing!
