Ubuntu one windows implementation

Asked by raxvan

Hello,

Why is ubuntu one so poorly implemented in windows? There are numerous reported nasty bugs and i experienced a lot of crashes in windows 7. Why does ubuntu client need .Net framework 4.0? As far as the functionality i noticed the program is trivial and there should be no need .net framework.

Thanks,
Raxvan.

For the same reason MS Outlook is so poorly implemented in OSX. The familiarity of the developers is with Ubuntu. For example, I spend all my time (both at work and at home) in Linux. So I am less able to make Windows solutions quickly. (First I have to find an boot a Windows box) If you have more access and the skill required, join the team and contribute. https://launchpad.net/ubuntuone/ https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-windows-installer/+spec/u1-windows-ui
