sharing files with non ubuntu one users

I want to share my files with some of my friends. But i cant force everyone to become ubuntu one member to download my files how can i download the shared file with non ubuntu one users.

Sharing folders in Ubuntu One requires that the people you share the folders sign up for the Ubuntu One service. As an alternative, you can publish a file that everyone will have access to if they know the URL.
