I can't delete files

Asked by Paul Appleton

I'm using ubuntu 8.04 and firefox 3.0.15.
I've signed up to ubuntu one and uploaded a few files to test it.
I now want to remove the files but can't. The only delete icon is the one that deletes the folder. There is no other delete option. How do I remove the files from the 'my files' folder which you can't delete?

If you click on the file in the web ui (@ http://one.ubuntu.com/files/ ) You should see a small trash can icon to the right of the name. Clicking that icon will ask for confirmation, then delete the file.

Hi Paul,

Sorry this isn't working for you still. If you check out the following tutorial and let me know what you see when you follow those steps? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/Tutorials/FileSharing#Delete%20files

Thank you,

Joshua

At the risk of repeating myself, there is no trash icon. The only trash icon is the one that deletes the folder.

Hi Paul,

I created a bug out of this question. It appears to affect Firefox 3.0.x and we need to fix it. My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Thank you,

Joshua
