My Account says that I have had an account for x months. What does this mean?

The My Account page says that I have had an account for x months. This is confusing. What does it mean? Does this represent the age of my subscription?

Ubuntu One uses Lauchpad for user authentication. This message indicates how long ago that you first logged into Ubuntu One using your Launchpad credentials. It does not indicate the age of your subscription.
