funambol has deleted all contacts is there a way to recover them

Asked by maxr

I had my phone stolen but the contacts were backed up on the ubuntu one server. Now with a new phone funambol has somehow deleted all 394 of my contacts that were stored there. (some android/samsung/google/funambol addressing permissions issue) Is it possible to recover them? This happened at some point on the morning of the 30thJuly - around 1100 gmt.
Thanks very much anyway

If you have ubuntu 10.10 you should still be able to see the contacts if you go to file:///home/YOURUSERNAME/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html
Here you should be able to see them and remove the deleted flag. Hope it helps.

You can download the script from http://people.canonical.com/~roman.yepishev/ubuntuone-scripts/ubuntuone-desktopcouch-undelete.py and run it as
python ubuntuone-desktopcouch-undelete.py contacts
to automatically undelete contacts.

Can you help with this problem?
