Nokia 5800XM no phone numbers synced with funambol

Asked by tempAntiGoogleName

Hi,

thank you very much for your effort. :) Haven't used ubuntu in a long while, just tested it right now, and ubuntu one is the reason I'm going to try and stay at it. :)

However a show stopper for me is that when I sync my contacts from my Nokia 5800XM, no phone numbers get synced, except those in the work and other field. (made worse by the fact that opensyncml and msync does not get any love from the developpers)

My user# is: 24195867

I hope you can help me with this, and if not, maybe you can tell me, how I can help you with it (if you don't have the time).

Thanks again,
jean.luc

I want to add that addresses (even multiple), birth dates, urls and emails are saved correctly. :)

It seems that is only the phone numbers under the mobiles tag get lost during sync.

Hi Jean, we've seen issues with multiple phone numbers before, and we've identified a few bugs we're working on.
Could you give me a little more detail on the labels that are not syncing. What are their names exactly?

the label that is not syncing is "mobile" without the quotes. :)

However I have identified something strange:

I have some contact entries like Emergency and the phone number, which is under the label mobile is synced. I've identified several of those entries. What they have in common is that they have no other labels, except "Last name".

I will go through the other contacts now and check if I find any other strange behavior.

Thanks again,
