If you want to add your computer again, please try the following steps:

1. Open Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys
2. Right-click on the UbuntuOne token and select "Delete"
3. Open Applications->Accessories->Terminal and run:
killall ubuntuone-login ubuntuone-syncdaemon ubuntuone-preferences
4. Open System->Preferences->Ubuntu One

You should be prompted to add your computer back on your account.

Thank you,

Joshua

Hi,

I had the same problem not getting the button to add my computer to ubuntu one account. Using Joshua's suggestions it was fixed. I did not have an UbuntoOne password token, the fix came from the "killall ubuntuone-login ubuntuone-syncdaemon ubuntuone-preferences" command.

Thanks

I'm experiencing same issue - tried the above suggestion and still not able to register my device with UbuntuOne.

Any further ideas?

Matt,

Thanks for your suggestion.

As per the Account/FAQ I tried:

$ u1sdtool -q; killall ubuntuone-login; u1sdtool -c
ubuntuone-syncdaemon stopped.
$

No browser window opened on this occasion. Similar to when I run the u1sync --authorize nothing happens either.

Both logs oauth-login.log and syncdaemon.log don't appear to have any errors.

Any further ideas?

Robert
