Asked by Aaron J Roberts

Is there a windows client in development? This would really make it more worth my time as I have the same files on linux and windows that I would like to sync up.

Hi Aaron,

We have started some work on porting to Windows but it is pretty far off right now. If you or someone you know is interested in helping us do this port, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with the people on the Ubuntu One team that have started this effort.

Thank you,

Joshua

I would be interested in testing and providing feedback on the windows UbuntuOne client, I do not know how to code software. Some code I can understand at a very basic level, but do not know how to debug.

Where is this project now (three months later)? I decided to write a wishlist/bug report for the missing Windows client since this is another tool in our quest to overcome bug #1. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+bug/601218

Here's my forum thread about it: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9539865

I'd be interested in testing and providing feedback on the Windows UbuntuOne client as well. I can read python and c code at at least an beginning to intermediate level and could probably run some debugging tools as well.

Can you help with this problem?
