Ubuntu One Infrastructure

Does Ubuntu One Plan on a webmail service? If not, can I buy a @ubuntuone.com address?

I constantly give out my e-mail address to clients friends etc. I am a huge ubuntu advocate. However it seems to be a conflict of interest when I give out my hotmail account. I know Gmail seems to have a lot of praise in the Ubuntu industry but it adds nothing to my e-mail experience as i use pop evolution to read my mails anyway.

I would like to give out an address like <email address hidden> so people ask me...what's ubuntu one? whenever I give it out.

A webmail service seems to be the missing link with the service ubuntu one already offers. (well that and calendar syncing)

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for the feature suggestion and desire to share Ubuntu with others! We've had this request in the past so we'll keep it in mind for future development, but currently we have no plans to add this type of email service.

I'm also missing that feature...
Ability to join file from the cloud to email would also be very nice...
