Feature request for Tomboy notes on Ubuntu One: I think it would be great if notes and notebooks could be shared with another user in the same manner as files.

Asked by hjstoff

This is not a bug report but a feature request for Tomboy notes on Ubuntu One.
I think it would be great if notes and notebooks could be shared with other Ubuntu One
users in the same manner as files can be shared.

Perhaps there is already a way to do that - if so, I would be eager to learn how.
I haven found it or seen it mentioned in the documentation.

Sometimes some notes that can be jotted down fast, are the only way to keep
track, to document detailed system changes more or less in step with the process
of actually making them - especially when you are still experimenting and don´t
know whether the changes just made will be part of a final setup. If more than one
person is involved in the work, sharing these Tomboy notes to me seems a perfect
solution. Very light weight en informal, and without the overhead of setting up yet
another wiki.

Kind regards,
Huub Stoffers

This is a great request and would be a neat feature. The team is working on many new additions for Lucid. I am not sure if this one will make it in by then but me and you both will eagerly await this feature :)

Hi Huub! Thank you for the feature suggestion. it is not possible to share notes or notebooks with other users currently, but we will consider implementing this in the future. Thank you, Joshua
