What does u1sdtool --refresh actually do?

Asked by PrivateUser132781

It is not clear to me from the help message or man page what the --refresh switch actually does. Does it compare each file with the copy on the server? Does it do a one-way sync from server to local or vice versa?

--refresh will send a query to the server asking for the state of that directory. If it changed on the server, it should get the new data it is missing.

Reconnecting should have the same effect.
