wget facility for ubuntu one

Asked by RachaelB

the use of ubuntuone pre-supposes that people do not already have remote storage elsewhere (eg. with dropbox)

to transfer over to ubuntuone, as it stands at the moment, requires d/l'ing all the files and then re-uploading to ubuntuone. considering that most people have a highly contended ul/dl rate, this could take a very long time. what would be far more practical for migration purposes would be if the ubuntuone server had the ability to direclty d/l files from the internet.

This is a great feature request! I think google docs supports something
similar to this also.
