Thank you for the kind words! We'd love to see Ubuntu One on the iPhone and other clients. We currently have no plans to do this ourselves but will be more than happy to assist others in doing this work. Thank you, Joshua

Hello, I found this post when I was looking for a similar solutions (great idea by the way), and being an amature Linux Dev/Hacker, I think I could help make this happen. I have been a registered iPhone Dev since the first SDK, but have been uninspired so far, and have not released any apps yet (or even began dev'ing at all). This sounds like a fun project, who would i need to talk to, to make this happen. Specifically, I need to know if couchdb is required for an ubuntu once connection, and what protocol/web language the webinterface was written in. If anyone could help send me in the right direction, I would love to make this happen.

Can you help with this problem?
