Remove Ubuntu One link in Places Menu

Asked by Brian Kemp

I would rather not have the Ubuntu One client installed on my machine. Removing it per the instructions in FAQ #778 was easy enough, but since I've run the client once, the "Ubuntu One" entry in my places menu simply will not disappear.

How do I remove this? Removing the folder does NOT remove the link from the Places menu.

Hi!

Open up any folder, and go to Bookmarks>Edit Bookmarks. You should be able to remove Ubuntu One from there.
