How to connect ubuntu one? I don't see login screen!

How can I connect my laptop? I do not see anything where I can input my login information. I have the same problem. I checked out the tutorial and at the second step where it says:

"The Ubuntu One SSO window will open prompting you to either sign up for an account or login with an existing account."

I do not have that screen. So how do I login to sync my files? I am using 10.10.

You should be able to setup Ubuntu One by launching the application from Applications->Internet->Ubuntu One. If you have not added your computer to your Ubuntu One account, a web browser should prompt you to login to Ubuntu One and you can then add your computer on the following web page. If you are not seeing this, then there are a few things to check/try:

1) Update Ubuntu so that you have all the latest software, especially the latest Ubuntu One client software
2) If you are not using NetworkManager, Ubuntu One will not currently work for you
3) If you see the Ubuntu One preferences window when you selecting Applications->Internet->Ubuntu One, you are already setup

Hello Joshua,

the situation is the following: the program has been already installed (i use 9.10) and i have already created the account. I run the program Applications->Internet->Ubuntu One and see how the program's icon appears in the system tray (with red box with cross). What shall I do for connection of my laptop to my account? I do not see any special menu to fill in.

The problem is solved. I use Opera and it does not open menu which allows to add computers. It is okay with Firefox.
