Files missing from web interface

Asked by Noah Hornick

I dropped a folder into ubuntu one to try it out, and although it says 'updating' and the directory tree appears on the website, very few files show up - it estimates 4.4mb of the 58mb in the directory. The first time it updated, only part of the directory tree showed up. Post-reboot, it updated again and the rest of the tree showed up, but still very few files. (This is not an immediate reboot, time elapsed between updates one and two > 1 day.)
Is there some way I can monitor what is happening, or force another update attempt?

Hi! I'm sorry it's not working well for you. We've seen some performance problems as we get many new users onto the system.

One way to trigger another update attempt is to disconnect and reconnect the Ubuntu One client. If it still seems to be acting incorrectly, please do file a bug using 'ubuntuone-bug ubuntuone-client', and provide whatever details you can and we'll do our best to help. You can also stop by #ubuntuone in IRC (Freenode), and often developers are around in that channel who can help more with interactive diagnosing of a problem.

Can you help with this problem?
