How do i share correctly a file?

I am running Kubuntu 9.10 completly updated with Ubuntu One installed and working. How do I share a file with a friend who is running Ubuntu?
In the web page for ubuntu one i created a folder, clicked on sharing and added there email address, however the folder still shwos as not shared. How do i resolve this?

Just recevied notification that he tried to share the file with me, after accepting it, it still has not shown up locally.

would like to demo this at release part on Thursday

It sounds like you did everything properly to share a folder: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/Tutorials/FileSharing#Share%20folders

Can you try again and if you still have problems, log a bug here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-servers/+filebug
