How do you check the version number?

Asked by Jordan Welch

This is a simple question and probably has an answer that leads me to the Terminal, but it is a simple feature that probably should be added to the final releases: A right click "About Ubuntu One" button.

I just wanted to know if I have the most current installed.

Hi Jordan,

The quickest way is probably from the command line: sudo dpkg -l ubuntuone*

I'll add a wishlist item in our bug tracker for adding an "About Ubuntu One" menu item that will display the installed version.

Thank you,

Joshua

Thanks, I just thought that an about would be a simple enough add, but always helps add to the professional feel.
