You just need to install ubuntu one client as if it was the first computer as shown on this page : https://ubuntuone.com/support/installation/

after install launch it and a page will open to let you add this computer to ubuntu one. You will only need your acount information on launchpad

How do I launch the Ubuntu One client? I cannot get a connection in 9.04 or 10.04.

Kavoura: Launch the Ubuntu One Preferences application in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS from the System >> Preferences menu. If launching this application from a computer that has not been added to Ubuntu One does not automatically open a web browser (it may take a few seconds) as described in step 2 of the installation instructions from yohann's comment above, review the Ubuntu One FAQ for an alternate (slightly more technical) process.

Thanks. I found the answer on another post, which suggested something using killall to stop the ubuntuone stuff running, and then when I tried to connect, it asked me to add the computer. Worked on both 9.04 and 10.04.
