Asked by Amit

I usually help to translate different applications in Hindi which is the most widly used language in India. I was just wondering why it was not on the list of translations for Ubuntu one?

Hi Amit, thanks for your question, and thanks for wanting to help translate!

I think if you go to the Hindi translation page for the first time this will automatically create the new translation, and I know there should be a way to get to it, but I can't find the link, so I modified the link for another language and that seems to work, so if you go here:

https://translations.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/trunk/+pots/ubuntuone-client/hi/+translate

you can suggest your translations. Thanks for helping!

Hi Amit:

One more question, did you set Hindi as one of your preferred languages in launchpad? If you do that, it should show up in the list for you, even when there aren't any translated strings yet.
