Ubuntu One Client

I had a problem in installing UbuntuOne client at step 2

Clicking on Install button at step two gets me to following error msg:
"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (apt) isn't associated with any program."

Also, Ubuntuone isnt listed in Synaptic PM. Have also reinstalled the package twice .. all to the same result. Help !!

Which system are you on exactly? Ubuntu 9.04? 9.10? Kubuntu? Xubuntu? UNR? Presumably you are receiving the error because apturl is missing from your system. Do you have apturl installed?

I have apturl installed, but I am unable to install ubuntuone -- I have tried everything suggested, but it is not found by symantic.

All the suggestions given in 391600 fail to work.
