headless client

Asked by Niels Egberts

Are there any plans for canonical to provide client that can be used without X? Or can the deamon already be used for this?

What would be handy is a commandline utilty for servers so you can (for example) create a website yourself with your files where you don't have to login.

Hi! We'll definitely refactor our packages so that you can easily install on a server without X, and have some command line tool for managing the syncdaemon.

Can you help with this problem?
