upgraded to 10.10 games requiring flash not working

 After I upgraded from 10.4 to 10.10 yahoo and facebook games requiring flash no longer work in Firefox browser. They do work in Google Chrome browser. I have tried uninstalling the flash 10 plugin and then reinstalling from the ubuntu get software area but this has not resolved the problem. The yahoo game is chess ant the facebook games are Bejewled, Bitronics and Pathwords.
I feel that any game requiring a flash plugin would not work although I have not tested them to see if that is true. The thing I did wrong was not to go to update manager and get all the updates for 10.4 before I upgraded to 10.10. I have also uninstalled firefox and reinstalled to no avail.

Wrong area much??? This questions belongs in the Flash area if that excists.
